Fixed, Offset or Boom Mower?

Choose the mower layout for where the cutting head must work, as well as the vegetation it needs to cut.

01

Choose the working position

A rear-mounted mower works in its configured position behind the tractor. An offset layout moves the cutting area to the side; a boom mower provides an extended positioning system. Compare the actual model geometry and available movement.

02

Match the cutting head to the vegetation

Grass, woody brush and crop residue require the corresponding head and cutter arrangement. A long reach does not establish the head’s material capability. Review the vegetation limits and drive requirements for the selected mower.

03

Include the tractor and terrain

Describe verges, banks, obstacles and access. Tractor mass, mounting, lifting capacity, ballast and the equipment instructions affect the working setup. PTO-driven and hydraulically driven configurations require different information.
