About the crop-residue mulcher

A tractor-PTO-driven straw mulcher with single-sided transmission for chopping crop residue and spreading the processed material back onto the field.

Features & benefits

01

Residue chopping and distribution

The cutting rotor chops straw and distributes the processed residue across the working area.

02

Single-sided transmission

The series uses a single-sided drive between the gearbox and cutting rotor.

03

Accessible belt adjustment

An external bolt adjustment is provided for belt tension.

04

Reinforced housing

A reinforced shell with a protective inner lining protects the housing.

Typical applications

Crop-residue mulching after harvest
Crop-residue mulching after harvest
  • Post-harvest residue managementChopping suitable standing or surface crop residue for field return.
  • Preparation for later field operationsReducing suitable straw before subsequent soil preparation, subject to rotor-tool selection and residue conditions.

Installation requirements

Confirm the implement fits your tractor

Before ordering, send the machine identification and the connection, power and working information relevant to this product.

  1. Tractor power and rear lift

Match the selected model’s kW range and implement weight to the tractor and rear lift.

  2. Mounting and driveline

Confirm rear-linkage geometry, PTO shaft length and the guarded driveline arrangement.

  3. PTO and rotor speeds

Match PTO input to the specified rotor-speed relationship; PTO speed and rotor speed are different values.

  4. Residue and tools

Provide the crop, residue condition and working width so the appropriate cutting arrangement can be checked.

Product questions

Crop-residue mulcher questions

Are all three blade arrangements fitted together?

No. Curved blades, a two-curved/one-straight arrangement and hammer claws are alternative cutting arrangements. Confirm the fitted rotor tools for the selected model.

Are PTO speed and rotor speed the same?

No. PTO input turns the drive system, which determines the rotor speed. The specification section lists the manufacturer’s four PTO-to-rotor speed combinations. Confirm the supplied drive configuration before choosing an input speed.

What should I check before installation?

Match the selected model’s kW range and implement weight to the tractor and rear lift. Confirm rear-linkage geometry, PTO shaft length and the guarded driveline arrangement.
