About the hydraulic steel shear

A double-cylinder hydraulic shear for cutting steel sections, reinforcing bars and suitable metal structures during dismantling and scrap recovery. Compare jaw opening, blade length and cutting forces at the stated jaw positions.

Features & benefits

01

Hydraulic steel-cutting jaws

The double-cylinder mechanism closes cutting blades around suitable ferrous sections and scrap.

02

Wear-resistant jaw structure

XAR wear-resistant steel is used in the shear structure.

03

Directional positioning

Mechanical and powered rotation configurations orient the shear for the cutting direction.

Typical applications

Scrap-metal cutting with an excavator-mounted hydraulic steel shear
Scrap-metal cutting with an excavator-mounted hydraulic steel shear
  • Steel structures and scrapCut suitable steel profiles and ferrous scrap during industrial dismantling and recycling.
  • Tanks and pipelinesProcess accessible tank and pipe sections with dimensions suited to the blade and jaw geometry.
  • Rail and vehicle dismantlingCut suitable ferrous components during dismantling; section shape, thickness and grade must be assessed before selecting the shear.

Available options

Rotation arrangement
Mechanical rotation and powered 360-degree rotation are separately offered in the source. Hydraulic requirements depend on the selected version.

Product questions

Hydraulic steel shear questions

Is a steel shear used for concrete pulverising?

Its cutting jaws are intended for suitable steel sections and scrap. Concrete processing requires the appropriate demolition jaw.

What steel shape, dimensions and thickness should I provide?

Provide the steel profile, dimensions, wall thickness and grade where known. Jaw opening alone does not establish cutting capability.

Is powered rotation included in every configuration?

No. Confirm the selected configuration and check rotation separately from jaw actuation.

What should I compare before installation?

Compare mounting geometry, attachment weight, jaw access and the required hydraulic circuits with the excavator.
